Our Barge Tote is over-constructed with this same toughness and quality in mind. We use vintage 18oz. wax treated duck as the foundation for our tote. Add a double bottom, handles made of 4 layers of fabric and riveted stress points for a bag that would make turn of the century canvas craftsmen proud. Use professionally or recreationally. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic cleaning with a hose and damp cloth is all that’s needed.
